This Rainy Day Vintage Bird relief print brings us to the moment where a fluffy, round, little bird, standing in the rain pauses long enough to look to his left deciding on his next location. Whether he's enjoying the rain to take a drenching bath or simply a traveler caught in the storm, he's only here a moment until he moves to the next place (perhaps up in a tree?).

Rainy Day Vintage Bird was hand drawn, then carved out of the original form of lino - linoluem - with the scent of linseed oil still present in the block and the telltale texture that comes through the printing process.

Art size: 4"x 4"

Paper size: varies, mostly printed on 6" x 8" Korean or Japanese papers, depending on the stock available. Paper is slightly creamy in color, not bright white.
