Kusa the Green Cheek Conure Original Design Distressed Hat
Kusa (which means "grass" in Japanese), a green cheek conure, adorns this hat with a slightly distressed brim and crown fabric. Perfect for on the go, and to add a little bird art to your attire. Add a little edge, fun, and color in the garden or out with friends.
Conures, native to South America, and part of the parrot family of birds, live in small flocks and have a connection to their group by communicating through several different sounds. Conures can chirp, whistle, "quack", scream (alarm), and mimic other voices or sounds. Conures do not talk as clearly as other parrots, their mimic sounds are close enough to gather what they are copying when "talking" to you. Green cheeks are the most common pet of the conures, however, due to color variations, not all of the cheeks are green! (See the other products with Jasper the Conure in shirts, hats, and mugs for instance!)
