Handcrafted Journal - Guardian Avocado dyed paper
This one-of-a-kind book is filled with hand torn to size, avocado eco-dyed paper (yes, avocado creates this gorgeous soft pink color on the paper - it is not pink paper).
Unique designs inside the book are gold ink* applied to wet avocado dyed paper allowing the ink to move fluidly across the paper adding a shimmer upon a change of light. The cover is hand stenciled with acrylic paint, marker, pens and watercolor. French link and coptic binding is used to bring the pages together and two built-in bookmarks are threaded and adorned for a finishing touch.
Book size: Guardian (approx. 8"x6") Tea Dye Process and/or Botanical eco-dyed, or modified ecoprint on thick 160 pound drawing paper.
*Gold ink may or may not allow for average pens to be written upon it, however it can be used to add to your designs, inspire a world of inspiration as you write around the ink, creating natural breaks and patterns within your own journal. Experiment to see what works best for your artistic style of awesome journal filling.
